Our Team.

Emma is the Founder of Crazy Crabs Swim School. She is a Level 2 STA Swimming teacher with specialisation in Baby & Toddler lessons & SEN. Emma has over 8 years teaching experience. Emma currently is building the business and is the cover teacher from time to time!

Grace is a Level 2 SE Swimming teacher with over 3 years experience. Grace is currently at university and teaches with us in the holidays. Grace also helps us with Admin so you might get some emails from her!

Emily is a Level 2 SE Swimming Teacher with over 7 years experience teaching. Emily currently teaches on a Monday. Emily also helps us with marketing so you might see some posts from her!

Georgina has been teaching swimming both privately and as part of an organised swim school for 7 years. She teaches at all levels including coaching the Henley Junior Triathlon club as is also a Fitness Instructor. Georgina is qualified with SE and teaches at Cookham on Tuesdays.

Lena has been teaching for the last 25 years. She enjoys her job immensely nurturing children to enjoy swimming and be confident and happy in the water. She wants them to be safe and enjoys watch them progress through their journey. That’s why she has been doing this job for so long! Lena is qualified with Swim England with CPDs in Baby & Toddler classes.

Gill is a qualified swimming teacher with over 10 years’ experience, holding Swim England Level 2, STA Baby & Toddler, and STA Level 2 Mermaid Instructor qualifications. Her career has taken her from the UK to Singapore, Dubai, and Myanmar, teaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. Gill teaches at Cookham on Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Steph previously worked as a practice nurse before changing to swim teaching. She now has over 10 years experience in teaching with her Level 1 & 2 qualifications with Swim England. Steph builds great rapport with the children she teaches. Steph teaches on Thursdays and Fridays at Hagbourne and on Sundays at St Hugh's.

Robert has been a Lv 2 teacher for many years teaching all clients from Babies aged 10 weeks old to adult swimmers. He works closely with a lot of our SEN swimmers and is known for getting any swimmer in the pool feeling happy and confident! He currently teaches for us at many venues including Pishill, Standlake, Milton Hill House and Hagbourne.

Kaitlin qualified as a Swim Teacher in Dec 2024 and has taught a variety of age groups and abilities. She prides herself on being patient and offers comfort to more nervous swimmers. She loves to see the children progress and build on their essential water safety skills. She currently teaches for us at QAS on Saturdays.

Ellie teaches beginners, SEN and private lessons. Ellie was an international swimmer up until the covid pandemic and has now been teaching swimming for 6 years. She have worked with SEN children both in the water and in schools as a SEN teacher and has also worked in early years education. She currently teaches for us at QAS on Saturdays. 

Ying has been teaching swimming for over 15 years, starting his career in Hong Kong before moving to the UK in 2019. He has extensive experience teaching across the spectrum, from Swim England Stages 1-8 to private lessons, adults, and seniors. Having worked with such a diverse range of ages and abilities, he pride myself on his ability to adapt his coaching style to meet every swimmer's unique needs. Ying currently teaches for us at QAS on Saturdays.

Nathan is an STA Certificate qualified instructor, he's taught swimming for 3 years and has loved every second of it! He's passionate about driving every learner to their fullest potential! He also is Rookie Instructor qualified and currently teaches for us at Hagbourne on Thursdays.
